Went away for the weekend with Carren, a friend in my year, and her eight year old son, Bernt. We went to stay with her parents, where she grew up, about an hour and a half from Berkeley. Went up on the train, up the East side of the Bay and crossed the water where some remaining navy ships are resting. Went for a walk in the countryside once we got to her house. Met some family/friends who stopped by. They were dressed in camouflage 'cos they'd been hunting turkeys. They were shooting clay pigeons when we left the next day. Stayed the night Saturday night then went to church in the nearby town (Fairfield) on Sunday. Came back to Berkeley early Sunday evening, leaving Bernt to spend his Spring Break with his grandparents.
